VIVO Z5 with indisplay fingerprint sensor and 48mp triple rear camera launched in China


After the success of Vivo Z5x, Vivo has extended the series one step further. Vivo Z5, a new device for Z series, has been introduced by the company in the international market. This smartphone is currently launched in the Chinese market which can knock other markets in the near future. Vivo Z5, equipped with a great look and powerful specifications, has been launched at a starting price of approximately 15,999 according to Indian currency.

Let’s talk about design first, VIVO Z5 has been introduced with a ‘U’ shape waterdrop notch. The edges of the display are truly bezel-less, only a slight chin has been given at a body part below. Vivo Z5 is introduced with a glossy back panel. There is a triple rear camera for photography, which is given in vertical shape on the upper left side of the back panel. Flashlight is also present just below the Vivo Z5 rear camera setup.

The volume rocker and power button are given on the right panel of the phone, whereas Vivo’s personal assistant JOVI button is present on the left panel. Similarly, on the lower panel of the phone, 3.5mm jack, as well as a USB Type C port, can be seen.

Speaking of the specification of the phone, Vivo Z5 offers 19.5: 9 aspect ratio with a super AMOLED display with 6.38-inch Full HD+ resolution. The Vivo Z5 is equipped with in-display fingerprint technology, which will unlock the phone only by touching on the screen.

Vivo Z5 is introduced on the Android 9 Pie with FunTouch OS UI atop, the phoen is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 chipset with Adreno 616 GPUs for graphics. Vivo Z5 also has multi turbo technology which makes the phone’s battery and processing efficient and smooth.

In the photography segment, this phone has a triple rear camera. The 48-megapixel primary camera sensor is provided with the LED flash on the back panel of the phone. Along with this, it has an 8-megapixel secondary camera which shoots wide angle photos and a 2-megapixel third camera sensor for depth sensing. Whereas the VIVO Z5 has a 32-megapixel front camera for selfie.

VIVO Z5 is a dual SIM phone that supports 4G. Along with basic connectivity features, this phone has a battery of 4,500 mAh for power backup, which is equipped with 22.5 W Flash charging technology. This phone in China market has been launched in Purple, Black and Gradient White colour variants.

VIVO Z5 has been launched in two RAM variants. The smallest variant of 6GB RAM + 64GB memory has been launched at a price of 1598 yuan. This price is close to Rs 15,999 as per Indian currency.

Similarly, the phone’s 6GB RAM + 128GB memory variant has been launched at 1898 yuan (about 18,999 rupees) and 8GB RAM + 128GB memory variant at 2298 yuan (about Rs 22,999).
